DirectoryCentral is a branch of White River Design, a graphic design studio specialsing in corporate identity and branding.
DirectoryCentral is based on the award-winning concept of the Glenmore Park Business Directory, which was initially set up by White River Design director Debbie O'Connor in 2003. Debbie had identified the need for cost effective advertising, primarily for the home-based and small business sector.
As a first time business owner herself, Debbie soon realised how expensive it was to place an advertisement in the Yellow Pages, and through tracking her newspaper advertising, how ineffective it was for her type of business.
The Glenmore Park Business Directory's aim was to enable local businesses in and around the Glenmore Park area an opportunity to advertise their services to their local community at a cost effective rate.
The first edition of the directory was published in June 2003 and distributed FREE OF CHARGE to 6000 homes in Glenmore Park and Regentville. The directory enabled residents to utilise businesses from within their own community. Due to the success of the Glenmore Park Business Directory, the Kellyville Rouse Hill Directory was initiated in January 2007. The success of these directories was due to the fact that they became a valuable resource for local residents as they had bus timetables, a map, savings coupons, calendar, emergency phone numbers and naturally, access to local businesses.

The DirectoryCentral team have taken the best parts of the Glenmore Park Business Directory and added some fantastic features all designed to maximise the retention of DirectoryCentral. We will also have an online presence with a FREE subscription where the community can sign up for a monthly i-Save Bulletin filled with savings offers from their local businesses.
'Focus on schools' will be a feature which will enable parents at any time to find information regarding schools in their local area. There will also be a page for quick reference to 'Trades and Services', 'Health & Beauty' and 'Restaurants, Cafés and Take Away'. Restaurants and Take Aways will have the option to have their menu on our site. This will give residents a chance to view dishes and prices before making a reservation or ordering.
To promote sensible spending we have also included a shopping list and a home budget so that people know where and how to start planning.
We are very serious about encouraging people to spend locally, which will keep our businesses operating through these challenging times. To be a part of getting the community to support local business, contact our team on 1300 556 731.
